Our London correspondent writes:—
"Kenneth L. Duffield (son of Mr. D. Wal-\ter Duffield, of Glenelg) was gazetted on December 10 to be a second lieutenant in the Royal North Devon Hussars, at present quartered at Barnstaple, North Devon, but likely to be shifted for coast defence shortly, and probably going to the front in a few months' time. - Jan 1915
