Thomas Wyburn BIDDLECOMBE was born in Shapwick, Somerset, England on 28th June 1880

His parents were William Josiah BIDDLECOMBE & Amelia Ann WYBURN

He married Gertrude Mary THWAITES at St Pauls Church in Adelaide, South Australia on 27th May, 1909 & then left for England - 2 known children, Guy Wyburn b. 1910 in Swallowfield, England and Joan b. 1917 Victoria

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Plymouth Naval Memorial (UK)

His son Guy Wyburn BIDDLECOMBE (SN VX 117005 &  V36172) served as a Major in the Army during WW2 and was discharged in 1947
