19 Aug 1941: Imprisoned Confirmed from Harry's National Archive Records, from his own hand written statement, he was captured at Sparkia, Crete during battle on 1st June 1941. Harry was first imprisoned as POW # 91985 at Stalag VII-A just north of the town of Moosburg in Germany. The camp covered an area of 35 Hectares.
7 Nov 1941: Imprisoned Officially reported a POW - # 91985 Germany Stalag VIIa
10 Apr 1943: Imprisoned Moved to Stalag VIII-B near the small town of Lamsdorf in Germany.
6 Mar 1944: Imprisoned Moved again to Stalag 357 at Fallingbostel.
16 Apr 1945: Imprisoned Liberated from Stalag 357 at Fallingbostel in Germany on the 16th of April 1945 by the British 7th Armoured Division.
17 Apr 1945: Transferred Corporal, 2nd/7th Infantry Battalion, Arrived in U.K from Western Europe. Awaiting embarkation to Australia.
