Great Sydney Central Station Honour Board
Patrick William Finley DOBINSON, (Service Number 1492) born at Finley in 1894, joined the NSWGR as an engine cleaner at Junee locomotive depot in December 1912. In November 1914 he was granted leave to enlist in the AIF at Liverpool. He had been a member of the Narrandera Rifle Club for 12 months.

Patrick William Finley DOBINSON (Service Number 1492) was born at Finley in 1894. He joined the NSW Government Railways as an engine cleaner at Junee locomotive depot in December 1912. In November 1914 he was granted leave to enlist in the AIF at Liverpool. He had been a member of the Narrandera Rifle Club for 12 months.
He embarked from Sydney in February 1915. He joined the 4th Battalion in Egypt in March. He was killed in action at Gallipoli on 6th May 1915.
He is buried in the 4th Battalion Parade Ground Cemetery, ½ mile E of Anzac Cove.
