Warrant Officer (later Flight Lieutenant) McKenzie 38188 was injured in a take-off accident at Tadji airstrip, New Guinea as crew on Beaufort A9-414  (13 October 1944)

Catalina Flying Boat A24-381 of Number 11 Squadron crashed on Lord Howe Island on the 28th of September 1948 with seven of the crew killed and two survivors
