Flying Officer Ronald David Guthrie O22139 (439513) of 77 Squadron was shot down in Meteor A77-721 in the Anju region of Korea on the 29th of August 1951
He was held as a Prisoner of War in North Korea until released in September 1953 - He stayed in the RAAF after his return to Australia and was discharged in July 1979
