Leslie was born 7th April 1895 second son of Edgar Worland and Elizabeth Halsall.
He married Clara Sophia Cowell on 24th April 1918. They had a son and two Daughters. Son Phillip served in WW2 and daughter Dorothy also served WW2.
During WW1 he served in the Citizen Military Forces.
Enlisted 5th June 1942 in Euroa, Victoria
Discharged 17th January 1947. Posting at Discharge Signals 3 lines of Communication area.
