Trevor served as a signaler with the Signals Platoon, Support Company, deploying to South Vietnam on 28 April 1966. He served in that position for the Battalion’s entire 1966-67 Tour. Trevor was not very comfortable with ocean voyages, so he volunteered to be a member of the rear party. He flew back to Australia with that party, on a chartered aircraft, arriving on 9 May 1967. - Courtesy of Gary Townsend
