Son of Samuel and Lily May BENNETT of 17 Thistle Street, Launceston, Tas.
THE funeral of Mr. Wilfred Abraham Bennett, who died suddenly in Melbourne, took place at Carr Villa Cemetery yesterday. Services at the funeral chapel and graveside were conducted by the Rev. F. Stewart, St. Oswald's Church, Trevallyn. Chief mourners were Jack (son), Stella (Mrs. A. Taylor) and Betty (daughters), Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Bennett (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lockhart (sister and brother-in-law), Mrs. Phyllis Rogers (sister), Mr. Ron Bennett (brother), Mr. and Mrs. F. Steel (sister and brother-in-law), and Messrs. Rex, Donald and Stan Bennett, and Geoff, and Reginald Lockhart (nephews). Funeral arrangements were by C. T. Finney & Sons.
