26 April 1916 - enlisted at Claremont, Tasmania, with the 12th Battalion with the rank of Private
Commenced return to Australia on 20 May 1919 aboard HT Nestor disembarking on 2 July 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Tasmania

13 September 1919 - discharged at the 6th Military District unit demobilised
