Commenced return to Australia on 21 January 1916 aboard HS Commonwealth disembarking at Melbourne on 29 February 1916 for onward travel to Sydney

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

In February 1941 he was living at Stockton, NSW before moving to Anna Bay, NSW where he died in 1966
