Date of promotion to Corporal is not clear

Medals: 1914-5 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal. Medals, were issued to Mrs A. Southon of 14 May Street, Snodland Kent, England who was the first cousin and the only and relative of Walter alive at that time

Served a 5 year apprenticeship with James Sharp & Sons, Dartford, England
