Trevor enlisted in 1967, attended 1 RTB and Infantry Centre and was transferred to 5 RAR in April 1968. He deployed to Vietnam with 4 Section, 2 Platoon, Alpha Company on 3 February 1969. Trevor acted as rifleman and scout. WIA in March but he continued to serve until 20 August when he was medivaced home. He had many posting through his 25 year service life with the ADF and retired on 5 July 1992.
