Barry Kevin Wickham
Barry Kevin Wickham born in Oatlands but left there to move to Maydena. Maydena was his hometown when he was called up to the Vietnam war. His brother Robert also was called up but he injured his knees and sent home. Barry went to Maydena primary school and then Glenora District high school. He loved his job driving the big Mack's for ANM. On his return from Vietnam he was never the same. Life was hard for these veterans both mentally and physically. He took his own life on 3rd December 1996, he was 47.
I'm his sister Vanessa Stevenson nee Wickham
