He is remembered on the Fulwood Cross-a war memorial in the town of Fulwood, near Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.
It is located at the Junction of Fulwood Rd and Canterbury Avenue

It is a wheel Cross of stone which surmounts a closed lantern. Lantern stands on tapering octagonal shaft. Shaft surmounts two-tiered plinth. Plinth bears inscription in incised lettering. Three-stepped stone base. Plaque with names set into wrought iron fence behind cross.
THEY DIED FOR FREEDOM AND FOR HONOUR IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF FULWOOD WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 AND ALL SUBSEQUNT CONFLICTS.
