Biography

Son of William and Ada RIAL, Homewood, Holbrook, New South Wales

RIAL. — In fond and loving memory of dear Ron, Corporal R. J. Rial, A.I.F., killed in action in France on the 6th October, 1917. He was one of Australia's best.— Inserted by  A. J.  G. N. Thornely, also Drivers A. E. and J. W. Thornely on active service.

RIAL. — In loving memory of our dear and only son and brother, Ronald J. Rial, who was killed in action at Passchendaele Ridge, Belgium, on October 6th, 1917, aged 20 years  and 11 months; also of our cousins, Leonard A. Rial, killed in action in France July 22nd, 1916, aged 23 years, and Owen C. Rial, who died of wounds in France February 27th, 1917,  aged 20 years.
