Lieutenant CECIL W. O. OSWALD, eldest son of Mrs. W. Oswald, of Rose-street, Sandwell, was killed in France on August 31st. Lieutenant Oswald was 33 years of age, and was educated at Lefevre Peninsula school and Way College. He was a keen athlete, and will be greatly missed amongst rowing enthusiasts. He was a member of the Mercantile Rowing Club for many years. His only brother, Captain G. Oswald, M.C., is on active service in France.
