Leslie was born in Zeehan, Tasmania on 20th December, 1897
His parents were Joseph PASTOORS & Johanna "Annie" DRIES
He married Ada Alice SELBY in St Saviours Church in Redfern, Sydney on 24th July, 1926
He died in Brisbane on 4th July, 1967 and is buried in the Hemmant Cemetery

His brother William (SN 1851) also served during WW1 with the 1st Light Trench Mortar Battery and returned to Australia in 1919
