The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, reger to pages 94+95 and 267. Prior to the war he was a farmer of Peak Hill NSW. He enlisted 31st Jan 1916 aged 31 years. He served in the 33rd Infantry Battalion, and for his activities during the war he was awarded the Military Medal. He survived the war and was discharged 17th Jan 1920.
