89 Private Jesse Shaw 13th Battalion AIF, died of wounds at sea 3rd May, 1915. Age 23. Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli 39.
G/9633 Lance Corporal Henry James Shaw 11th Battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) killed in action 15 September 1916 age 29. Son of Thomas and Harriet Shaw; husband of Beatrice Kate Shaw, of 6, Beverley Rd., Chiswick, London. THIEPVAL MEMORIAL. According to local British newspapers Henry returned to England to enlist.

MENDINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY V. A. 4. The inscription on his CWGC headstone, as requested by his father, reads "IN LOVING MEMORY / OF JIM & HIS FOUR BROTHERS / KILLED IN ACTION / UNITED IN DEATH".
