Memorial Service.— A memorial service was held in the Methodist Church on Sunday evening for the late Private C. K. Snodgrass, who was recently killed while in action. A number of residents attended, including the members, of the Orange and M.U.I.O.O.F. Lodges, of which the late soldier was a member. The Rev. W. Bean, who conducted the service, preached from the text, 'If a man gave his life for his Friend.' The ''Dead March', in 'Saul' was played by the organist, Mrs. Collett
