Full name was John Israel Fox but served as Israel Fox and his birth name was registered as the latter. Also served with the service number 1523

Son of Mark Fox and Annie Fox nee Reay of 32 Edward Street, Elsternwick, Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 22 December  aboard HT Bakara disembarking on 19 February 1919

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

At the time of his death he was living at Reade Park, SA for at least eight years having moved from Sydney
