Biography contributed by Julia Eggles

CH Kendall, known to all as "Chris" was a big, gentle man who was well loved by his family and friends.

He was discharged from the AIF with a 50% disability, this didn't dissuade him from working - just a couple of months after his discharge, he started with the Queensland Railways on 11/07/2016. He stayed there until his death.

He was active socially and pursued an interest in rifles - he was a member of the Redbank Rifle Club, and shot competitively.

He married Elsie Mona Cuthbert August 15, 1917. They went on to have three children together - George in 1919, Joan in 1921 and Mona Patricia in 1922.
