Herbert (Bert) (Melbourne), father-in-law of Christine. Eileen, Dorothy and Rene, and grandfather of 14 grandchildren; aged 74 years. Privately cremated in the Karrakatta Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday. October 25, 1949, Rev. Spratling officiating. Arthur J. Purslowe and Co.
Biography
Three years Permanent Artillery and marksman Semaphore Defence Rifle Club. Enlisted as Corporal with 11th Battalion AIF August 1914, to hospital at Gallipoli June 1915, discharged 1917
