22 Aug 1916: | Imprisoned After serving at Gallipoli, he served on the Western Front where he was wounded and captured at Mouquet Farm, France, on 22 August 1916. He was interred as a POW in Germany, was sent by hospital transport from Ruyanlcourt to Veln the transferred to Lazarett Munster. Transferred to Regina Hotel Murren, Switzerland on 13 December 1916. He was repatriated to England on 11 September 1917. | |
