12 December 1916 - AWOL. Sentence held in detention for 24 hours

21 April 1917 - Detached from 2 Australian Light Horse to New Zealand Division.

28 April 1917 - Rejoined unit from New Zealand Division

7 June 1917 - Wounded in action. Gun shot wound to the abdomen.
