Son of Henry Benjamin KILBURN and Isabella Margaret KILBURN nee SEVIER, "Laviston" Cyril Street, South St. Kilda, Vic.
Promoted to Lance Corporal 18 February 1917. Wounded and gassed on 28th October but remained on duty. Suffered trench feet on 2nd January 1918 and was evaucated to Graylingwell War Hospital, Manchester. Retured to France 4th October 1918.
