"Driver T. O'Keefe Killed.
Mr Michael O'Keefe, farmer, of Pine Lodge, received ,the sad news on Friday evening that his second son, Driver Timothy O'Keefe, of the Australian Artillery, had been killed in battle in Northern France. The deceased soldier was 27 years of age, had enllisted in New South Wales, and had been three years and three months on active service at the front." - from the Shepparton Advertiser 08 Apr 1918 (nla.gov.au)
