Pte Leslie William HYLAND
Born 29th April 1891 Bagdad the son of William Gates and Catherine Hyland (nee McEvoy) a 25 year old farmer he served with the 40th Battalion. He died from wounds 16th December 1917 in Belgium and is commemorated in the Wimereux Communal Cemetery
