James Henry TODKILL was born in 1880 in Marulan near Goulburn NSW
His parents were Samuel TODKILL and Elizabeth BISHELL
He joined up on 14th June, 1917 with the 19th Battalion
Unit embarked from Sydney on 15th July 1917 on HMAT Port Melbourne
James was Killed in Action on 4th April, 1918 aged 38 years
No known grave but he is commemorated in the Australian National Memorial Villers Bretonneux, france
