WINNERS OF MILITARY CROSS.
CAPTAIN FULLARTON.
A private cable message has been recelved Intimating that Lieutenant Ian Grant Fullarton, youngest son ot Mr. Archibald Fullarton of Wysewill, Govett-street, Randwick, had been promoted to the rank of captain, and awarded the Military Cross. He was on July 20, at Pozieres, wounded In the back and arm and, according to the last advices recelved was in a hospital In England He Is 21 years of age, and left early this year with the rank of first lieutenant. He visited England with the company of cadets that went from Australia to the Coronation. Three years ago he entered Duntroon College.

Brig. Ian Grant Fullarton, former Commandant of the 7th Military District, Darwin, died in the Repatriation General Hospital, Hollywood, yesterday, at the age of 57 years. He entered Duntroon Military College in 1913, ws commissioned in June, 1915, and won the Military Cross in France, where he 'was wounded. During World War II he commanded the "Ginger Force" on Goodenough Island and the Milne Bay Fortress. He left a widow and three daughters.
