Brother of Charles Edward Richards who returned to Australia on 13 April 1919 having served with the 15th Field Company Engineers; Alfred Richards VC who served with the 1st Battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers and Chaplain Robert Richards MC who served with the NZ Expeditionary Forces

Husband of Ethel Richards nee Hamilton of 169 Ourimbah Road, Mosman, NSW, Harry and Ethel were married in Sydney, NSW in 1908c. Father of Harry Kenneth Richards
