Born at Carrington, New South Wales on the 27th September 1879 to Edward and Elizabeth Anderson; husband of Sarah Elizabeth Anderson nee Day (married 18.2.1910, died?) of Scotia Avenue, Oberon, N.S.W., Henry enlisted January 1917 as John Stirling (service record states not married - http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article123517470) at Orange, N.S.W.
Harry did not receive any injuries during his war service, but was discharged as medically unfit when he returned home March 1919.
I have not located his name inscribed on any known War Memorial or Roll of Honour.
Henry’s tragic death was reported.

Henry’s father Edward is also buried at this gravesite, but sadly Henry’s name has not been inscribed, and I am unable to erect a wooden cross, so I have placed poppies to honour his service for God, King and Country.
Lest We Forget.
