Raymond Keith PYBUS was born in Hobart, Tasmania on 26th November, 1890
His parents were William Bruni PYBUS & Fanny TILLEY who married in Tasmania on 2nd October, 1865
He had previous military service with the 40th Battery, Australian Field Artillery before he enlisted on16th January, 1915 with the 1st Australian Divisional Artillery Battery
Raymond married Clara Alexandrina ROBSON (date unknown)
He embarked as 2nd Lieutenant with the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade from Sydney on the HMAT Runic on the 12th February, 1915
He served as a 2nd Lieutenant, Captain & Major and was Killed in Action in France on 15th April, 1917 and is buried in the Bapaume Communal Cemetery, Row 1, Grave 5
