Son of Mr David and Mrs Anna Louisa (nee Fullwood) Roderick.  Mrs Roderick was the daughter of Mr Peter and Mrs Margaret (nee Dial) Fullwood.

Nephew of

  • 1001 Sergeant Joseph Fullwood (MM) - 3rd Tunnelling Company returned (1871) and
  • 3059 Private Peter Fullwood - 28th Battalion died prior embarkation in WA 26th December 1915 (1873).
