Son of Albert Ossenton and Maria Elizabeth Ossenton nee Lack od Adelaide, SA
Husband of Alice Ossenton nee Walter of Brunswick Road, West Brunswick, Victoria. George and Alice married in Victoria during 1906c. At the time of enlistment he gave his marital status as divoriced but keeping the wife.
Commenced return to Australia on 7 June 1918 aboard HT Essex disembarking on 1 August 1918 at Sydney for onward travel to Melbourne
