Address at the time of enlistment was C/- W.J.  Swaries, St Julian Wickham Road, Neutral Bay, NSW 

Son of John Edwin Quiggin and Caroline Ellen Quiggin nee Robertson of Fairfield, Victoria.

Brother of John Charles Fairfield Quiggin who returned to Australia on 21 May 1919 having served with the 22nd Battalion until captured at Bullecourt and held in a Prisoner of War camp in Germany.

Commenced return to Australia on 22 July 1917 aboard HT Nestor disembarking on 24 September 1917.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1920c Albert married Ruth Rowena Downes in Victoria.
