Rex Donald Stumbles joined the RAN 26 June 1941, as an Ordinary Seaman II, proceeding to HMAS Rushcutter after training. He also served on HMA Ships Hobart (where he was promoted to Able Seaman), Bidelia, Morton, Kurumba, Thedens and Torrens before returning to HMAS Morton for Demobilisation, discharging on 8 January 1946.
