Personal Stories
Memories of Bill
My family moved to Wollongong amd we met Bill, who served during the war. He was a quiet yet honourable man who helped my family settle in the Illawarra. His mother Annie made us feel welcome and I will never forget Bill as he helped shape me into the woman I am today. I now work for Dept of Veteran affairs as a means of saying thank you.
Shirley.
