Son of Matthew John Thomas Adams and Bridget Adams nee Lenine of Bundabeg, QLD. Brother of John Thomas Adams, Annie Adams, Herbert Adams, Mary Ellen Adams, Thomas Adams and Margaret Thomas nee Adams of 'Baree', Mount Morgan, QLD. Magaret was later named next of kin
Commenced return to Australia on 31 March 1919 aboard HS Wandilla disembarking on 18 May 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane
