Son of Charles Cecil BRIMACOMBE of Albert Street, Sebastopol, Vic.

Charles Lloyd Brimacombe (SN 4073) attended the Sebastopol State School before becoming a Clerk. He was 18-years-of-age, single, Labourer when he enlisted on 10th July 1915. He trained in Ballarat and Broadmeadows before embarking in March 1916 to serve with the 21st Battalion. He was killed in the fighting at Mouquet Farm near Pozieres and is buried in the Regina Trench Cemetery at Grandcourt, France. He was 19-years-of-age.

PRIVATE LLOYD BRIMACOMBE
Mr and Mrs Brimacombe, of Albert street south, Sebastopol, received intimation from the Defence Department yesterday that their son, Pte Lloyd  Brimacombe, had been killed in action in France. Pte Brimacombe, who had been reported as missing, was killed in France on 26th August, 1916.
