SHORT, ERIC.

Born 15th December 1892 Huonville the son of William and Agnes Short (nee Bell) a 22 year old orchardist he embarked with the 12th Battalion later transferring to the 52nd. He died 24th October 1916 in England after being wounded at Moquet Farm (gunshot wound to the left thigh) He was buried in the Wandsworth Cemetery England.
