28 Jul 1916: Wounded AIF WW1, Gunner, 10413, 6th Field Artillery Brigade , Battle for Pozières , Multiple BW to hands, face and abdomen after picking up an unexploded German stick grenade during excavation work in Sausage Valley (Pozieres). Evacuated to 2nd AFA however died of his wounds later the same day.
