Son of Thomas and Mary JAMES (stepmother), "Sebastopol", Central Street, Crow's Nest, Sydney

Lance-corporal Oliver William James has died of pneumonia in France. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. James, Central-street Naremburn, and enlisted in October. 1914.  He was at the landing on Gallipoli, and was Invalided home after being buried with seven comrades at Lone Pine. He left Australia again in November, 1916. and was at Bullecourt.  Two brothers are serving with the A.I.F.
