"...18118 Private Henry James Bartlett, 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps, of Auburn, NSW. An insurance clerk prior to enlistment, Pte Bartlett embarked with the 30th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Commonwealth on 2 November 1917. After transferring to the 4th Light Horse Field Ambulance, he died of illness on 28 October 1918 at Damascus, Syria, aged 27." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
