Son of Charles Henry and Ellen Martin of Tammin, WA. Brother of Stanley Lewis Martin who was killed in action on 4 October 1917 while serving with the 23 Machine Gun Company and has no known grave. His name appears on the Menin Gate, Ypres on Panel 31
