Australian Infantry, A.I.F. 2nd Bn.

Died Between 06 August 1915 and 09 August 1915

He was 28 years old and the son of Peter Ure Wallace and Jane Wallace.

Siblings:

Montague Massey Wallace, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Muriel Wallace, “Sea Craig” Newport, Fife.

He left a widow  Daisy May Grigg (formally Wallace) 5 Gray St, Wickham, Australia and a son Douglas Harold Wallace.

Date of enlistment: 27.08.1914
Place of enlistment: Randwick NSW.

Australian Infantry-2nd Battalion

Date of Death: Between 06.08.1915 & 09.08.1915.

Dundee paid a high price for her war efforts. By the armistice, over 4,000 men and several women had made the ultimate sacrifice. Their names are recorded in the city’s Roll of Honour.
