Roland George Rogers (killed in action) was only 24 years of age. and was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Rogers of Chatswood. He was educated first at Chatswood and later at Fort Street. After leaving here he entered the office of Messrs. David Fell & Co., and in 1912 was successful in passing his final examination as Accountant and Auditor. Another brother, Harry, has been at tlie front with the 6th Light Horse since the beginning of the operations in Gallipoli.
