IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR DEAR SON WHO GAVE HIS LIFE THAT WE MIGHT LIVE

The news that Private Albert Gibbins, of Byaduk, had been killed in France, was received with feelings of regret on all sides. Private Gibbins is the first of the Byaduk soldiers to pay  the supreme sacrifice for his country.he was very highly respected by all with whom he came in contact, and the deepest sympathy is felt for his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Gibbins, of  Heywood. He was a grandson of Mr. W. Gibbins, of Byaduk, and has lived in this district nearly all his life.
