Lieutenant Reginald William Foster, 15th Battalion from Rockhampton, Queensland.

A 28 year old school teacher prior to being appointed a Second Lieutenant on 23 April 1915. He embarked for overseas service with the 6th Reinforcements from Brisbane, Queensland aboard HMAT Karoola on 12 June 1915.

Lt Foster joined the 15th Battalion at Gallipoli in 1915 and was killed in action on 8 August 1915.

He is commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey with others who have no known grave.
